Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Chronometre" reference 2240, dated by the catalogue to the 1930s. Mat silver dial with painted Arabic numerals at every hour, outer minute track with five-minute markers, Chronometre above 6, and baton hands. Stainless steel tonneau case, 32mm, screwed back and crown; 19 jewels, self-winding, centre seconds. Estimate HKD 15,000-18,000; result not published. Cropped from the catalogue plate to exclude an adjacent lot.
